What’s the Difference?
What is the difference between “I would like to” and “I intend to”? Watch David and Wilbert explain.
“I would like to” is asking permission. If the boss doesn’t say ok, things stay stagnant. In Intent-Based Leadership, the person who says “I intend to” is indicating three things:
1. They feel they have full ownership and control over their work;
2. Things will happen faster because they are not waiting to be told to do something;
3. If no one stops them from doing it, it will get completed.
It’s a bias towards action.
