The next time you get a piece of work from your team to review or approve, find something you think you could make better but then let it go. Don’t say anything to your team; just let the work go out. Here’s why I want you to do that. If you have to make every decision, your team will never learn what it feels like to make a decision and they’ll never get good at it. And besides, if you have to do everything yourself you’ll die of fatigue and your team will never learn.
So, just because you can find a way to maybe make something better, sometimes there’s more learning in just letting it go.
