Why ?

Becoming an Intent Based Leadership team is a choice about who you want to be and what is important to you. Whether you are starting your journey or you’ve been practicing for some time, getting a clear understanding of what’s going on, and the journey to travel is important. It helps to create a mandate for change and shines a light on the potential for change.

How we work

We have more than 20 years experience of reviewing and analyzing team and organizations. We lean more towards looking and learning and asking questions rather than sending out lengthy questionnaires. We can even film your teams in action and review it with you.

What you get

Think of it as a mirror held up to your business. You’ll recognize some aspects. There might be some surprises, and our job is to give you a fresh insight into what’s really going on. Whether you want a lengthy report or a succint presentation we’ll report back to you.

IBL Live (1:1 Development)

Why ?
Learning to become an Intent Based Leader involves practicing the application of tools and mechanisms in the workplace. IBL Live gives leaders individual support to make that happen. This is 3 dimensional development which involves the leader, an experienced IBL Pioneer and the wider team in real time

How we work
This involves live on-the-job shadowing and observation of a chain of command, reviewing their practices, providing observation-based feedback and using “Intention 1 to 1s” to help leaders achieve more effective outcomes in any given scenario

Leaders supported and challenged to bring IBL to life in their day to day work through a series of interventions.

Act Your Way (Our Workshop Program)

Why ?
To become an Intent Based Leader requires practice. We believe that people act their way to new thinking, not think their way to new action. Our Act Your Way program introduces your team the tools to practice, encourages discussion on real life challenges, and encourages peer learning

How we work
This program involves a series of short burst workshops focussing on different themes. These are facilitated learning activities rather than tutor led classes.

IBL Chain (Business Improvement)

Why ?
Push control closer to the customer/service user to increase the value of your employee and customer experience using Intent Based Leadership.

How we work
We work with you to identify a typical or current business scenario which regularly causes frustration or challenges. We then bring together people from every part of the chain of command in a full day improvement activity in which we use the mechanisms and practices of IBL to achieve a better outcome

What you get
Decision-makers, leaders from the chain of command, and customer-facing individuals will explore respective needs and issues, and provide insight to identify the leadership, behavioral, role, and process requirements to create an environment for achieving excellence. This provides the control, clarity and competence for them to think and take initiative for the good of the customer, resulting in leaders at every level in your organization

IBL Champions

Why ?
Intent Based Leadership requires practice over time and our Champions program is designed to give you the internal knowledge and capability to embed Intent Based Leadership in your organization

How we work
We work with you to help identify a cohort of your team to take on the role of a Champion. We then provide them with the development and support to take on these roles as part of their day to day sfunction. This is typically done through workshop led interventions based around four roles for Champions
